The BIG Freeview change at Winter Hill

The planned change has now been postponed

Between now and mid 2020 transmitters were scheduled to be updated following a decision by the UK Government. A regionalised clearance of frequencies was planned to create more room for mobile broadband 5G services.

Further to the escalating problems arising from COVID-19 the planned update for Winter Hill transmitters on the 22nd April 2020 has now been postponed.
